1. Never take your eye off the ball.

2. Dont start the game too quickly.

3. Use the corners of the court as much as possible.

4. Do as little running around the court as possible, by positioning yourself in the centre of the court (known as the "T")whenever you can.

5. Vary your game by varying your shot selection.

6. In between shots where possible, try and make your way back to the T.

7. Have a game plan. i.e. aim to hit the back corners and get on the "T".

8. Join your clubs squash league to get competitive games.

9. Make sure you warm up properly before a match and also warm down afterwards.

10. Take some squash lessons.
